A corner shop for players, built to last
Power Up Corner is an independent UK games shop. We've been buying, testing and selling games since 2016 — video games, consoles, board games and cards, all in one place and posted across the country.
How it started
The shop grew out of a simple frustration: too many good games gathering dust, and too few honest places to buy them second-hand. Ryan Corbett started trading from a market stall, testing every disc on a little CRT behind the counter, and the same rule still stands today — nothing goes out that we wouldn't happily play ourselves.
These days we cover a lot more ground: the newest boxed releases sit next to boxed retro classics, the tabletop shelf keeps growing, and the card cabinet is a proper rabbit hole. What hasn't changed is the bench-test and the honest grade on every pre-owned item.
We're a small team and we like it that way. If you email us, a person who actually knows the stock writes back.
What we stand by
Every pre-owned game and console is cleaned, booted and graded honestly. The grade you read is the grade you get.
No inflated "was" prices or clever tricks. When something's reduced, it's genuinely reduced.
Trade-ins and pre-owned stock keep good hardware in the game instead of in a drawer or a bin.
