Privacy policy

How Power Up Corner Ltd handles your personal data, in plain English.

Who's responsible

The data controller is Power Up Corner Ltd, Unit 5, Fryer Street, Wolverhampton WV1 1HT. For any privacy question, email privacy@powerupcorner.uk.

What we collect and why

When you place an order we process your name, delivery address, email address, phone number (if given) and order details. We use this to take and fulfil your order and to provide customer service. The lawful basis is performance of our contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details to answer you. If you sign up to our newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed to run the shop: your delivery details with our courier (Royal Mail Tracked 48), and payment details with the relevant payment provider when you pay. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to make the basket and checkout work. There's a full breakdown on our cookie page.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet legal duties — in particular UK tax law requires us to keep transaction records for six years. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@powerupcorner.uk.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so do get in touch with us.
